I did ding a few walls as I got closer to the edge. The one thing that would be nice is have a option for using a hand button when you got closer to the walls. The pneumatic floor stapler worked great. Very heavy duty, solid, did not have any problems with plugging of staples.
We noticed that we had to keep the psi between 85 and 88 for this type of wood since it is so hard. When the staple was mangled it sometimes split the tongue on the board, but not a big deal. Overall though the stapler functions well and is made of quality materials. We installed 3-1/4" brazilian walnut with this stapler and it worked very well most of the time. Every now and then it would mangle a staple and the staple had to be manually removed.
I used this product to install my first-ever pre-finished hardwood floor. It has the power to go through the hardest woods (I used maple). It never jammed, and the special foot designed for pre-finished wood left my floor mar free.
it also comes with a foot for pre finished hardwood floors.works great.
One negative--design is such that when you are close to wall, must do hand nailing. Does a beautiful job in making installation easier.
